MESH is a collective of national and international experts, united together with a single primary objective: to assist public and government so that all Indian citizens can have access to affordable evidence-based medicines/interventions, in an ethical manner.
The team is composed of a very diverse and eminent group of medical doctors, dentists, public health experts, veterinarians, professors and scientists from all streams of science, IT professionals, lawyers, science communicators, law enforcement officers, journalists and other professionals from various fields of study, who strongly advocate for science literacy and fostering scientific temper, our constitutional duty.
Our Leadership

Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips
President: Cyriac Abby Philips, Senior Consultant, Clinical & Translational Hepatology – Oversees strategic vision, represents MESH in national and international forums, forges alliances with legal and medical experts, and guides policy development.
Arif Hussain Theruvath
Vice President: Arif Hussain Theruvath, Clinical Research Professional and Former Homeopath – Directs research programs, cultivates partnerships with academic institutions, and spearheads public education campaigns to advance ethical, evidence-based healthcare and public health initiatives.
Chandrashekhar Ramesh
General Secretary: Chandrashekhar R. – Leads organizational governance, coordinates strategic initiatives, maintains institutional records, and facilitates communication among board members, staff, and external stakeholders to advance MESH’s mission.
Krishna Prasad R
Joint Secretary: Krishna Prasad R. – Supports strategic program implementation, manages advocacy and outreach campaigns, oversees digital communications, and liaises with partners to amplify MESH’s impact.
